Thanks, it was at Folly Farm, Wales.Very Very robust Nicky. IR suits this image.
Where was it taken?
ThanksBeautiful shot Nicky, great choice for the theme.
Yes we are fortunate to have a small holding in Wales (no domestic animals, just lots of natural habitat)So cute... and you're very lucky to have that in your garden.
Thank youVery cute and very well taken.
Lol, they are a unique variety very localised to the Carmarthenshire hills I'm afraid.Where can we buy those Popgloves.

Three great images Nicky.
Rubbish: one bird's rubbish...another bird's treasure...
Sound: great street shot, I like it a lot
Well spotted for sound.
B/W suits this image well.
Woody gets my vote from three good shots
I rather like woody too... he's posing for you!
Thanks. This is a juvenile great spotted woodpecker. You can tell them apart by the red markings. When it's on the top of the head it's a youngster, when it's on the back of the head it's an adult male and when there is no red on the head it's an adult female.I have no knowledge of birds whatsoever but learns bit more with photos like yours on TP. Anytime I try to get a photo of one they fly off. I do like be silhouette one too.
Three great images, even though the woody is a great shot I can't pick a favourite.
Outstanding set Nicky, I would have been hard pressed to chose between your chosen one and the woodpecker.
Thank you.Loving that.
Thank you, I took a whole load as the light was so great. There were blooming hundreds of them on the astrantias, bonking away so no doubt there will be even more soon lol.Week 26 - what an absolute cracker!
The flower on it's own would have been a stand out submission - but add in the little inspect, and it's awesome. You;ve even caught movement in the antenna, and eye contact, and beautiful light on his body.
Turns out I totally forgot to update the main thread lol.Love the watching image great capture there.
Torn is also great and I took similar yesterday (although I haven't posted mine yet). Great minds and all that.
