That certainly works. Would be interesting to see the colour version, just to see what can be done. I’m not very practiced at seeing the B&W potential in a shot
 
I'd have thought that was something transparent in a lightbox if you hadn't said. Nicely captured and edited. Very sharp photo.
 
Snappers: My type of shot. A lovely minimalist composition.
Abstract: Great image and great processing!
 
I think the backdrop works better than I stark white one would. It has a softness and hint of shadow that complements the feathers. Works for me.

Yes, I agree hat a plain white background would not work so well. I like it, simple and elegant.
 
As above, Simple and elegant sums it up. No idea why but it’s quite relaxing to look at.
