Bought an iPad adapter a few days ago from Amazon but it was useless, ...no less than useless, so opted to return.
Had a friend pick up this morning on his work round and drop it off to the local Post Office, which he did late morning.
Had an email a while ago saying that my refund had been processed!
Really can't fault that!
Amazon seem to process the refund as soon as the bar code is scanned in at their drop-off point, be it a PO, Next shop or wherever. They do say that they reserve the right to re-charge you should there be a problem (item obviously misused etc.) but they haven' done so to me (yet!)
Jonney, some cars eat battery charge when unused - Mrs Nod used to have a car that would flatten its battery in 2-3 weeks of no use. It was a combination of the alarm and an old battery not holding a full charge, combined with the need for a hefty current to start the car (4l V8...) It was a good excuse to use it as often as possible!
