TaGreat shot Dave, the coldness of death...
I like how the light and colour in the upper part of the frame balance our the darker part of the lower and mid frame
Is it an improvement? It's certainly a novel take on the theme.
Ta - I agree - a bit of Street Art. But no doubt would have soon be plastered with rubbish graffiti. They have left a beautiful skyline of Mill chimneys and pit heads down near the ground, they could have done the whole wall in that. Anti graffiti graffiti.
Yep - crying out for some nice approved 'Street Art'So much worse than whatever they are covering up tbh.
Ta BobA non-graffiti graffiti shot - works well.
Ta muchly AlanGreat take on the theme
I tryWell that's different
TaDefinitely different - I like the idea but do wish councils wouldn't "improve" things in this way!
Ta SimonVery austere. Nicely spotted and captured.
Ta Pete - I agree.Nice take on the theme Dave. I like that you can still see the graffiti underneath. Not sure that the cover-up actually improves the site though.
Cheers KellFunnily enough I went for a walk at the weekend and came across a tunnel that had had all its graffiti covered up like this.
Never once did I think about capturing it.
Disappointed in myself as this really works and makes you stand out this week.
Wonder how long it will last prior to someone starting again with the spray / rattle cans
Thanks StanNice take on the theme, Dave. I like your lateral thinking.
Ta - aye about 10min later to the looNice picture.
Were you running?
Very nice indeed. Midland rings a bell, having lived in Morecambe for a year c 1981
