Very nice - and a scene that has hardly changed for centuries (another form of solidity, perhaps that was your intention)
 
Catch up time.
Urban - very on trend. Nicely captured motion too.
Hollow - well spotted and good colours in there.
Solid - that's a lovely, peaceful shot. One chilled swan too!

Week 39 : Gates

Gateway to the beach - at high tide.

Solid: a well built bridge being solidly photo-bombed by a swan. :D

Gate: love the movement and texture of the waves.
 
That looks a bit scary, like it's coming to get us.
 
Nice gateway, wonder how often it gets painted.

Ended up googling painting the Forth bridge, Painting completed in 2011 and cost £130 million

Yep - 9.95m which is high for here and caused flooding doen the estuary a bit.
