New - Nice to know that mobile phones are not winning the battles for all images. Although they are just so easy to carry around and capture whatever takes your fancy. Not having the full reflection you could have got away with a slight crop from the bottom and retained the ducks.
Old - Agree with the majority of others, image 2 is a better image but the theme is better served by the first.
Receptacle - Sometimes despite your best efforts you can't get into a theme, it still meets it though.
