Photography show in London 2025

I'm actually more concerned about the getting to the train bit in big cities... You read every day in Daily Horror about muggings and stabbings. I have a bloody car, and expect to be able to use it!
Serious point
You should change your media sources.

Not sure what year I last attended the Photography Show (NEC) but I bought a new Canon 1D4 for £1500. One of the best cameras I've ever owned.

Another situation were the south comes first and sod the north. Keep it!
I guess if its in the south that makes it more difficult for those located north to attend and if in the north harder for those in the south for those wanting to do just one day. I suspect thats why the NEC was ok as it had good transport links being next to Bham International for the train and the M42 for road with lots of parking (albeit expensive).

I suspect attendance numbers will show as well as how easy or difficult people find accessing and if there are any other events on in and around London that weekend ie 6 nations Rugby Eng v Ita on the Sunday.

As has been mentioned I do wonder with the greater ExCel access emphasis on using public transport and far more restrictive for cars will reduce the in-show purchasing of bulkier items as people might be put off having to carry them further than they would have to with the NEC car parking.

And as for the "expert talks", many of these "experts" are far from expert, and are simply people who are prepared to pay a lot of money to self-publicise:(
its generally the title they give themselves that either compelling or a put-off - anything with "content creator" and I see this year there's an "empowerment photographer"

460 miles round trip which is a tank and a bit of petrol if I take it easy, so £80-90. Plus £25 (!!!!!!) to park, so yes about half the price. But the prospect of a 5-6 hour drive each way, either side of a day walking round isn’t something I’d want to do. So if I stayed over I’d be close to the cost of a train ticket depending on what standard of hotel I’d be prepared to tolerate.

Birmingham is a far more attractive proposition, a sentence I never thought I’d say in any context…….
Arr well, Ive got diesel, plus I'd park outside the city, using two tubes to not incurring stupid fees.
