Interesting back story and what a job moving the monument

After days of non-stop rain, I was down at the beach a couple of days ago for a walk with my camera looking for inspiration to catch up on this challenge. This Vacuum Flask forgotten by someone was right before me when I stepped out of my car.

There are numerous wall paintings/murals around the city centre area. The council's idea was to brighten up some of the bare and boring grey granite walls. I always find this one a bit 'unreal' and spooky, creatures with multiple eyes!!!

Thanks, Kell. I think that's what the space in the middle of the bench is for, taking selfies with Santa and Snowman.

A big thank you to everyone for commenting and supporting me through the year. 2023 was a year of mixed fortunes, first six months was pretty routine and normal then Mrs rpn had her long awaited heart operation. It took longer than normal for her to recover but somehow I managed to 'carry-on' with this challenge. When it was my turn for what should be a routine hospital procedure turned out to be a serious side-effect recovery period, and, again a couple of big catch-ups managed to bring me up-to-date to the
