Share Your Inspirational Videos?

Great video Dave. It's helped me justify my current (non commercialised) project.
 
This one isn't particularly film related (although many of the example images used are on film), but it's a nice video that matches my own thoughts on the use of light and shade in images (particularly if I hear a camera club competition judge keep harping on about keeping all the shadow and highlight detail :) ).

Yeah I was thinking more about the eclectic nature of F&C folk rather than the film bit. The ones I have met are not all that conventional :exit:

Also, Netflix is currently running "Shot - The Psycho Spiritual Mantra of Rock" which is a documentary on/by Mick Rock. I really like the work of the music photographers - Kevin Cummins & Brian Griffin in particular - and this is now in my watch list (not watched it yet though)

I’ve been subscribed to his channel for awhile now and like his content.
 
Meant to thank you @Ed Sutton in the other video thread of interviews with Parr but that thread seemed to have hit the rails and I didn't really want to revive it.

I'd never seen Jem Southam's work before spent the last couple of days trying to get one of his books.

Wfh on Friday so now I've discovered this thread I'll have something to entertain me.

I thought that at first Nige, but then it seemed like they were in clear sleeves and that would explain it.

I was looking at the opening images thinking "how the f... did they look so damn good?". Then I saw the 8x10s and it was ... "ah... that's how..."

Encouraging to see a young curator too.
