Plymouth Sound, yes that is what it is called. Bit of a PABD but I don't want to fall behind.

A nice take on sound there Martin :)

Snappers... smile making shot... I love the traffic cone - H&S for you washing!
Watching - the texture and colour is quite something.

Sky Juice, well that is different. Would have to be careful walking our dog past that in case he thought it was a lamp post. :)
Watching, great colours and detail, not the prettiest bird but looks as though might it have a bit of character.

Fab duck! It’s a Muscovy Duck. Not a native species but they are not uncommon as domesticated escapees.

Wouldn't want to crash into the washing, a cone can stop that happening ;)

It's an ugly duck that is far, far from being a swan; it was very tame though. The picture was taken with a 14-24mm lens at about a foot away, it was not bothered.

Rather like the rubbish shot - fits the theme and the line of bins up to the subject work really well.

Good detail on the duck, showing the wrinkles and colour off really nicely.

I like the colours and textures in your Torn shot Martin, as for the unsightly shot....welllll....ummmm...yeah, it is that...

Unsightly.
With apologies, absolutely yes.

I hope for something more attractive for "Pretty" this week.

Pretty Red Admiral. In truth I shot this last Wednesday so I'm cheating by about 7 hours as it was taken in the evening, but I'm going to call it fashionably early. Notice the absolutely tiny depth of field.

Cracking shot Martin. DOF may be tiny, but you've done all you can to maximize it with the f11 and resultant necessary high ISO (which hasn't hurt the image at all).

There is detail in the hair on the body even at the 1024 resolution, bet the hi-res version is even better. Nice one!

Until I saw this photo, I didn't realise how hairy they were.
