I read a lot of 19th-Century novels (eg Anthony Trollope, Dickens) and it seems to have been a common name for a woman in that period.

Many of the streets in Saltaire are named after members of the founder Titus Salt's family (with some exceptions). Fanny was the second of their five daughters.

I'm very happy with my day lugging the GX680 around Dinorwig quarry, shot 2 rolls (18 shots) and from those there are 16 that I'm happy with I'm pleased that I saved some weight by only taking two lenses!!!

This morning I made two lith prints in the darkroom, from two 4x5 negatives taken on the same day at Gibside Estate.

The first is HP5+ with a Schneider Angulon 120mm lens and the second is HP5+ with a pinhole board. Both are printed onto Kodabrome II RC paper using Moersch SE5 developer.
