#1 for the simplicity ('sept for the bottle :nono, Nice angle, DOF and desaturation works well.
I do like #2 as well, I maybe tired but it has a tilt shift look to it
Cheers.
Nice... a clever take on the theme.
I like the lower angle and overall comp of number 1, and the rubbish doesn't bother me. The step edge at the right of the pic pulls my eye a little, but only a little.
Hi Chris
Electric - simple and well on theme. Good focus on the middle battery and dof spot on. Can't help wondering what it would look like on a plain base and a brighter b/g
Thanks...interesting thought, I don't really have anything in the way of a light box and really have no idea where I would start
I sort of like using my dining room table because there is a lot of natural light from the patio doors close by and also on this I liked how the batteries reflected
OK that's it. I've been toying with the idea of getting one of those lenses, now you've pushed me over the line.
Classic use of the wide aperture there chris and spot on theme.
B&W perfectly suits this image too.
Um, haven't we seen this shot before? (;-)
Okay so I am drastically trying to catch up. I am really struggling for ideas now
So, whilst maybe an obvious subject I tried something a bit different in the pp
I've not processed the RAW image, but the JPG on my ipad using iPhoto only

Week 13 - Tacky by Sibling Chris, on Flickr
Hi Chris
when did blu tack turn white
Nice angle , good use of DOF & vignette
very nice lighting for the coins - really good and sharp too. Why f22 for this one?
