That would be my choice too - very creative. Did you zoom during the exposure or were the streaks made by the lights ?

Thanks for all the kind comments everyone! eoSimon you're correct I did zoom out as I took the picture, I had the camera set for a five second exposure. I counted for two seconds before zooming out for the rest of the shot.
 
I was walking around Southport when I spotted Silcock's Funland, a classic spot for entertainment. Admittedly, it was a quick snap on my phone it was freezing and windy, and I just wanted to get back to the car! Southport’s largest amusement center opened on September 12, 1983 (thanks, Google) and remains a popular destination for locals and tourists, offering a mix of traditional arcade games and modern attractions.

Nice shot Simon. The last time I photographed that was 2013 using a Nikon FG and Kodak Gold :D
