Cheers Pete. It does pop rather doesn’t it?Black and white version for me Simon. It seems to concentrate the eye more on the shelter.
By the way, looks like you were up early……or late

Thank you Paul!Yes, that works - and a different take on the theme.
Thanks Bob!Agreed, a different idea and a nice sharp shot.
Cheers StanI like your take on the theme. The beauty of nature, neat, tidy and orderly.
Thanks Keith. Nature is pretty extraordinary.Good idea and nice focus on the berries, took a while but nature has done a pretty good job on the design.
I like that idea a lot, Simon. Nicely photographed too.
Thank you both for your kind comments!Snappers: the colour image works best for me. The beach huts pop out of the shot.
Neat and tidy: Nice take on the theme. Good dof and composition
Thanks Paul - indeed. The course really shouldn't have been open but it was, so gave it a go. Not conducive to good golfYuck! You certainly have earned that shot.
Cheers Pete. It was about all I could manage this week.Ticks the box as many have done this week.
Pete
Thanks Dave - as said, a bit of a desperate what can I do shot, but hopefully gets me over the line this week.Works well Simon
Thanks Bob. Yes. embedded more often than notMore boots, but that muddy fairway must play havoc with the golfballs!!
Thanks. They do sometimes Keith. Not as much as they should or a normal golf club would because it’s a resort course (Vale Resort), and they have paying hotel guests and corporates to keep happy.Lovely if you like mud. Don't know much about golf but do they not close the course/some areas when it gets bad?
Looks a bit too muddy for golf! Ticks the box nicely.
Yep, it was pretty horrible Pete. There weren’t many balls that bouncedCrikey! That must have been a round of plugged balls!
Cheers Paul. Have got used to the clouds. Hasn’t been much blue sky round here of lateYes, that certainly works - nice sky too.
Thanks for dropping by and commenting. We live in Barry, but regularly nip to Penarth for a walk over the top through the gardens down to the pier and long the prom. Always something to see.Nice picture.
I love Penarth. Used to live on the clifftops overlooking Cardiff Bay. Often go back and walk along the pier.
Thanks you Bob - for once in my life I think I got it right with the foreground!Great image. I think the greens in the foreground really set off the blue/grey tones.
Nicely done!
It apiers you've done that one very well
Thanks Alan - appreciate the commentsLots to see in this picture, and you’ve brought the colours up nicely from what must have been a grey day
Thanks Keith. It’s a popular spot! Ice creams, chips, fishermen, coffee shops. plus, as one of the few days the last month that it hasn’t been hosing down, I think a lot of people took the chance to get out!Nice looking pier, quite a few people about for a grey day in February
