Simon's 52 in 2024

The processing on that pine tree is great. Amazing what a few slider tweaks can eek out of an image. I barely could tell what it was at all on first look. Definitely fits the theme.

Thank you very much for that nice comment. It’s much appreciated. :)

Both great.

But, I'm leaning towards the roses.

(That sounds weird)
Mind those thorns!

Cheers Kell. I like the roses, and I took a whole bunch of shots (see what I did there?) and fiddled around with different processing, but ultimately none came out quite the way I saw it in my mind

Snappers. Definitely the harbour shot for me. Lovely!
Abstract: I'm with your chosen shot. Lovely textures and nicely balanced.

Week 27 - Light

A view of sunlight on the Bristol Channel from Penarth this morning, as a large rain front builds up further to the south across Somerset. I liked the way that the light also reflected off the glossy foliage in the foreground (helped a little with some tweaking in PP).

Yep - that'll do nicely :)

Week 28 - Clouds

I've reprised a shot/technique used in a previous 52 - food colouring for something a little different to the obvious for this week's theme.

Nice one. Upside down jellyfish? :)

Summer on the pier. What's not to like? :)
