Thank you Kell!Agreed on your chose shot for most of the reasons stated. Nice leading lines into the shot.
It’s the same all along the wall, so I guess yes…..Have those bricks in the top layer been shaped to give that curve? Most off-putting !
Thanks Paul. Me too. Only have my iPad with me so also a little tricky to tweak in PP.A nice couple of shots. I prefer the dusk one, but I know why you had to choose the later shot.
Thanks KellI prefer the 2nd - definitely for the theme. Nice part of the world.
Thanks DavidI prefer the second but both good shots.
Thanks Paul. It was ok actually - a bit seaweedy. But bloody freezing! We’d been about 10 miles further south at Hartland and it was literally shorts and t shirts weather - the car read 23° when we got in. 20 mins later at Appledore it was full on coats, hats and a quick 10 min before we got back in the car! That's very nice. Was it a bit smelly, being at low water?
There’s quite a tidal range there!
Thanks DaveNice sea scene
Thanks Kellnice - my wide's from Barnstaple, so we used to go down there a lot.
Thanks PaulThat certainly works for the theme
Thanks Ryan. I did try pointing the camera straight down from the pier, but these patterns weren’t there that close to the structure.Definitely intricate, would be interested to see the patterns from a birds eye view but your shot is spot on for the theme.
Cheers Alan. Indeed. I’m there regularly, and haven’t seen patterns quite like this previously.Always fascinating how the sea creates these patterns
Thank you Bob!Very good shot of the coastline with the intricate foreground. Spot on.
Cheers PaulYup, Roman is definitely ancient.
Yup - what he said. Nice pix of it.
Thanks Kell!Nice idea and well set up and taken.
