This rather grand staircase is in Holme Lacy House (currently a Warner Hotel) which SWMBO's 13th times great-grandfather, Phillip Skydmore (1416-1488) rebuilt in the 1450s.

We recently stayed there for a couple of nights, but the currrent owners were not very forthcoming when SWMBO tried to claim her portion of the estate!

Stairs at Library of Birmingham - I liked the lighting effects they used, and they actively encourage stair rather than lift usage, which I agree with as people are often far too lazy to use stairs - Canon 1Ds, Nikon 28mm f/3.5 AI
