Oh really, how about transferring in Palmer and making him captain ahead of Salah! 6 points for Palmer, and 21 for Salah, which could have been 42 for Salah! :rolleyes: Still would have lost my H2H by 1 point though. :LOL:

Well done! Looks like your aggressive squad rotation is paying off.

For me it was another strange week in a strange season. Highly owned players who I haven't got raised the average way beyond normal. Transferring Rogers out cost me the red arrow. Other than the Saka injury I'm happy with the squad and hopefully next gw will be better.

That's what I get for doubting Salah! :rolleyes:

I thought Palmer was going to have one of his good weeks, scoring/setting up a few, and maybe penalties, especially against Everton, with the form Chelsea were in. And Spurs were going to be better. Ah well, glad I was wrong about that. :LOL:
 
Chambolica Charente's(67) lead at the top is reduced to 25 points from Klopp-Slot Boom!(88), who move up a place to 2nd.

Fiendishly Bad!!!(67) drop to 3rd, 10 points behind Klopp-Slot Boom!. Biggin Bangers(76) remain in 4th, and Amber Army(84) in 5th, just 3 points behind.

Highest scorer of the week was New Oak Utd with 94 points. :clap:

The average point score for the week was 60 points.

The next round of games are the traditional Boxing Day fixtures, so the deadline for the making changes is Thu 26th Dec @11:00.

In the Head2Head league, New Oak Utd won the match up with horspath hounds 90-65, and increase their lead at the top to 7 points, ahead of Klopp-Slot Boom!, who won their H2H with Tarric Terrors 84-51.

Last week's 2nd place, Biggin Bangers, lost a close H2H with Asteriskter Citeh* 76-77, and are now 2 points behind Klopp-Slot Boom!

Fiendishly Bad!!! also drop a place after losing against Amber Army 64-80, and are 1 point behind.

Woody's wonders beat AVERAGE 67-60, :clap: and move up two places to 5th, on equal points with Fiendishly Bad!!!, and horspath hounds in 6th, after their loss.

Next up to take on AVERAGE are Banished to Riyadh, hot off beating me 76-57. :rolleyes: ;) حظ سعيد

I was much more aggressive last season lol, I am being a teensy bit more cautious this time.
 
I'm having to take a hit this week. Saka is out long term and is so highly owned that he'll probably drop in price at least once more before the gw starts. I'll replace him with Isak so that means 2 transfers.
 
Saka owners are forced to make a change this round, or indeed just bench him if you have a filler [I have Rgers] and use his funds for double transfer later maybe

[edit] I had this typed earlier but forgot to post, Clive could be right about the price drop though

Much closer than you thought it might be, you're 2pts ahead atm as I have -4. You have a defender still in play and a striker to go and me a defender, good luck!

We both have Salah captain and both have Mbuemo so they cancel out.
 
Looks like I may be about to win my first H2H in awhile against Tarric Terrors, unless Gabriel and Raya have a nightmare today. I have a 9 point lead, and though we both have Mbuemo, that is their only player yet to play, so it is the Arsenal duo who could scupper me.

I think a nil nil draw would be perfect on all levels, though I doubt that will happen. I just hope there is not a
mass brawl, where Gabriel and Raya are sent off, and then Arsenal ship a load of goals!

Then again, that would not be too bad for Liverpool in the long run. :thinking: I'd take that hit. :ROFLMAO:
 
I'm hoping for an Arsenal clean sheet with maybe a Gabriel goal assisted by Timber or the other way around and a penalty saved by Flekken. Not too much to ask is it?
 
My H2H couldn't be closer, we're both on 52pts [inc my -4 for transfer] , we also both have Mbeumo [was my Saka replacement] , I have Timber where Len has Jao Pedro. A clean sheet for Arsenal would be nice.

My money would be on Timber outscoring Pedro. But, we never know who will and who won't do well week by week. Next gw we will be half way through this strange season. Who would have thought that Cunah would be outscoring Haaland?

I certainly didn't see it, I only brought Cunho in for the cheap price tbh, when i sold Haaland it was to enable Saka and Palmer. It's unfortunate about Saka, but then almost everyone had him so shakes things up a bit ... now we all have Mbuemo :ROFLMAO:

Well, I got some of that. A rare double clean sheet from the gooners along with 3 bp was welcome. Flekken was a disappointment though. He was on track for a double digit haul then went off injured before getting his clean sheet points. I don't see why he couldn't have hobbled around for another half hour. Still, a little green arrow after two reds is welcome.

The average point score for the week was 51 points.

The next round starts tomorrow, and so the deadline for making changes is Sun 29th Dec @13:00.

horspath hounds won their H2H against Woody's wonders 69-52, and move up from 6th>3rd, still 3 points behind Klopp-Slot Boom!

Biggin Bangers lost a close match up with Amber Army 79-80, and drop to 4th, and now 2 points horspath hounds.

Chambolica Charente beat Fiendishly Bad!!! 65-59, and join them on 30 points, but ahead of them in 5th place. Also on 30 points are Amber Army in 7th, and Woody's wonders in 8th.

Banished to Riyadh beat AVERAGE 65-51. :clap:

I believe it was a mistake, 2 assists and a goal, Palmer has a lot of work to do!

I do have some differentials from Clive - Mbeumo, Rogers, and that Palmer captaincy, but rough start on this one

Its not over till the fat lady sings. You've pulled rabbits out of hats before. But it will be interesting Sanchez v Flekken (or his sub), Mbueno v Enzo, Rogers v Gordon and Jackson v Dalot. I don't think Jackson will play a full part, but I would expect the Toons to overrun ManU & Arsenal to thrash Brentford. Then you've got Palmer's captaincy points.

Too close to call.
 
I could lose top spot this week with Fiendishly Bad being Fiendishly Brilliant. He's got some useful points from players who hadn't done well recently including Jiminez on the bench warming up in case Jackson is rested as feared.

Its getting tight at the top! :facepalm:
 
Hindsight is a great thing .... but really shouldn't have switced captaincy as I had Salah captin for many rounds now. Who would have seen Ipswich beat Chelsea so handy though? Now many
