I've been thinking long and hard about whether to carry on for another year or not. I found it quite hard going at the latter part of this year with family health issues. I struggled to keep it with the weekly theme and commenting was non-existent. But then again, my weeks just won't be the same without this Challenge every week since I've been doing 52s for many years now. So I decided to carry on and sign me up, please, Tim. @LC2 (y) :snaphappy:

A lot of people seem to go for Weekly - which I've copied this time for my own, but others use the 52 for 2025 prefix, and some don't use a prefix. It's entirely optional. You choose your preference.
 
OK folks, it's the official start of the 2025 - 52 today.
For our first theme, we shall go with something to remind us of the excesses of recent festivities: Food Photography

Our technique for January and February will be Wide Angle

If someone combines those two?

@Cockney if you're a wildlife tog, I'd say 100 is a bit wide angle!
At the end of the day, there's no judgement involved in the 52, it's just a personal challenge organised and run by TP (or in this case me, with some big help). So the content can be whatever you think is appropriate (and is within the site rules!)

I've not got what the purists would call wide angle, but a lot wider than 100. :) It'll be reet.
 
Hmm - I have a good archive shot in extemis. Trip to the parents tomorrow for a final family get together before the house movers arrive on Monday - my main camera is traveling in hand luggage, and I've not sold my m43 wide angle yet so I should be able to squeeze something in...
 
Sign me up please ... I will do better than last year now my heads back in gear (I hope)
