Meadow pipit, quite a bonnie little bird.

They have to be the most common bird on our local moors but I'm guilty of regularly over looking them.

I've had to clean it up tbh, was a little under and lifting it created a tad more noise but the outcome isn't too bad.

Went out early in the wet looking for a Owl which I did not find, however, a nice collection of other birds.

Spent a hour trying to get a decent shot of a Swallow early this morning with low light, loads of them, flying low all around me, but they are so fast I could not get them in the viewfinder let alone get focus !
These are the best of the dozens I took (mostly of free space)

Very windy here today, even the lone Kestrel was having trouble hovering !
I think it spotted me in #4 !
