Nice, liking this a lot. I do wonder if taking it to pure mono and losing the green/ purple in the bottom RHS might be a slight improvement though.

I think the mono version is nicer to look at, but then again that almost defies the point!
 
I think I prefer the coloured version too, although the speed limit stands out a little bit more in colour for me
Good idea for the theme (though I'm sure the council will say it's on purpose)
 
I think the council were trying to boost their green credentials by letting the grass grow. But the footpath is becoming a trip hazard and the roots of the grass/weeds are causing the edges of the raised path to break up. Best-laid plans seem to have backfired. Think I prefer the colour version hence my choice.

Unkempt: I prefer the colour version too. Looks too much like my garden path at the moment!
Gob shot.. lovely doggy shots.
Snappers: rather like the colour pop of the bluebells in the lone tulip shot.

It's an outside art exhibit that is on display this year.
 
I think the 2nd Picture is better for the theme, but the background is not as good.
 
Great subject, difficult not to get a good photo there.
I might have cropped out the road in the first one?
