Occupation
by Alan Webb, on Flickr

At Hickstead today, I discover that part of the responsibility of the course judge team is to line up the start and finish timing beams. Not sure that it's a full time occupation but nonetheless.......

Yep - fab take on the theme Alan :)

Good spot Alan, love the bold type on the barriers - I think the arrows pointing the same way as she's lining up really works. (Also really liked you welding shot for hot, I haven't been around in a while).

Just a plastic shovel from agricultural store. I was tasked with the cut down so that it fits in the specific place in the back of the horsebox for cleaning out after transporting the horse. Apparently I got it about right

Thanks, one of those “saw it and snapped it” shots before the moment passes so not necessarily technically perfect. My primary task was to video the horse jumping!

A few days in Canterbury, so dropping a couple of photos without Flikr as I’m mobile. Last night two police spent ages chatting with this homeless busker, he was showing guitar chords, nice vibe. Just an i-phone capture but it’s the moment that matters.

Curiously the Jpeg from the Canon via i-cloud is too large to be posted? Good job i went for the i-phone photo then

Poignant pic Alan!

In Swanage on a damp Sunday afternoon, snapped this from literally from my table out the doorway of the cafe where we were having a coffee opposite the Wimpy. Yes, there are still Wimpy restaurants!

Exit. As said a very poignant shot and nicely composed.
Candid. I haven't seen a Wimpy for years... they do look very in step! Nice one.

Nice shot of the metal budgies :)

Friends. Nice balanced composition.
Local. Does what is says on the tin :)

Nice one, did you ever find it or was it lost forever?

Nice take on Rough Alan :)

The picture with the view through the arch way is good, leads you right into the picture.
