Mooching around a working farm and vicinity for these pictures. That frame was about 3metre high, no idea what it was used for though

Something metalwork/sculptural that we picked in Brighton a few years ago. Too wet and windy to go down the garden today so this is through the back ddor!

Some ancient railway stock, lit up ready for the Swanage Railway Polar Express to come along. No messing with the colours, just the Christmas lighting from the platform

That works Alan.
With the castle shots, sometimes the camera just doesn’t see what the eye does, but I like the 2nd one with the pub.
 
When I saw your post in the main thread, my immediate thought was that was the Swanage Railway steam crane, stabled at Norden I believe.
Clicking through to here and seeing the additional shots of Corfe pretty much seals it for me.
I think it was the right choice for the thread. Whilst I like the castle itself, and the shot across the pub is good, the light on the crane is, in my opinion, better.
I must admit I do like the light coming through the window in Ancient3 too.

Thanks. Correct, in the siding at Norden, with the “not to be moved” sign on the front. Pleased with result, handheld resting against the passenger rest room in the gloom. Sometimes it doesn’t have to be ultimate sharpness or definition to get the right shot.

Thanks, tried to capture the evening feel but just a bit too late for any help from the sun.
