Thanks Keith, they were the tiniest little border flowers, I almost missed them.Lovely set Bill, the colour and pattern of the 3rd picture make it my choice
Thanks Simon.A fabulous set Bill. The detail in the 3rd shot particularly is incredible. What a fantastic thing nature is!
Thank you Nicky, no not bluebells, I'm not sure what they were but the stalks were about 3 feet tall, in fairly deep shade.A nice set of images, is your chosen shot of bluebells?
Thanks Helen, I've always liked buttercups (even if they are a pain when they get a foothold in your garden...)All great shots.. the buttercups are my favourite.
Thanks Pete!Good set Bill.
The first for me - a little different to the total focus on just the flower heads.
Thanks Dave. All good images for irregular Bill, but for me you picked the best one for the main thread. Great image and the people in it make it stand out more.
Thanks Adam, that was the very first thing that I saw after getting off the Skytrain. It was the colour and the patterns that drew me to it.Yes, I like the chosen image but I'm also drawn to the first image due to the interesting colours.
Thanks Paul.An excellent rendition of the theme, well done!
LOL, you're not wrong Dave...That's a bit bonkers that is Bill. I like it
Thanks Pete, I used a mask to partially paint the couple back into the final image.Your chosen shot works nicely for the theme Bill. I like the colours and the people are well enough defined to lead you into the picture.
Thanks Keith, it did turn out better than I had anticipated. I had the idea to do this type of image when I walked into the library but wasn't quite ready and I was right behind the couple so I just grabbed a quick shot thinking that it would stand alone. Goes to show that sometimes it's the unplanned shots that end up being the best...Chosen shot is very irregular Bill, great editing again. If the couple in the picture had a copy it would be on their wall.
Thanks Allan, much appreciated. The last shot is fantastic really eye catching and the inclusion of the two people bottom left really makes it.
Thank you Pete.Cleverly done Bill, always something a bit different.
Pete
Thanks Peter, you can't go to some parts of downtown without tripping over things every second step...Good creative collection Bill.
Discarding things on the streets is a worldwide phenomenon.
Thanks Allan, they are fun to do.Good selection I’m liking these experimental shots I have to say
Thanks Dave.Interesting stuff Bill
Thanks Helen, once I got started doing the multi shots I caught the bug and can't stop...Irregular... I am enjoying your multiple exposures.. must give it a try myself. It would be my chosen shot too.
Rubbish. Again I am with you on the chosen shot. It tells a social story and I like the nod to the rubbish product too
Thanks Adam, the Adidas were a surprise for me. I wasn't expecting to come across something like that just abandoned on the sidewalk.I also like the trainers image with the black and white, textures and the reflection. Nice idea and well done.
Thanks Pete, it was a little different technique for me with shots taken at different points and then trying to line up the graffiti in PS.Nice set Bill. I iike the one you’ve chosen. The intentional puts an emphasis on the bins.
Thanks Kell, I get where you're going with that and can see it once you pointed it out.I really like your chosen image Bill.
When I saw it in the main thread I did think it might have been for the 'sound' theme though, Sort of a visual representation of sound vibrations.
Thanks Donal, for the irregular shot the only thing that I did was add a mask and paint in the couple in the foreground. I've done that before with some of my shots but maybe not to the extent that I did it with that one.Catching up:
Fragile ... like them all. 4 is my favoirite.
Robust. I went for 4 on my first pass. However, No. 1 really popped into life when I noticed the clouds - So No 1.
Nearby: Stunning set. Struggling to choose between 2, 3 and 4. 4 is quite different, so that would be my choice.
Irregular. The lower part of the picture really brings it to life. Have you modified the technique for this?
Rubbish: No1 for me. I like something about the composition. Cup on bottom right almost feels as if it's looking at me. The red car echoes the red cup. All seems to fit.
A babbling brook - so soothing.
I can imagine the sound by just looking at that lovely stream.
Good thinking for the theme. I really like the use of the two pools of light on the stream and find my eyes travelling up and down stream between the two.
A wonderfull soothing sound
Fits perfectly with the theme, I can hear the trickling and want to be there not stuck in front of my computer.
Good take on the theme, a lovely little image that looks so peaceful.
