E-Cigarettes

other half worked his out to be about £1.74 per 10ml using mostly totally wicked stuff and DV flavourings, but has since started buying from alchemists cupboard and its cheaper again

I just got an iTaste V3 - and it's great. It'll replace my ego twist as my out-and-about vape. VW in a neat, stealthy device, brill.

This is my first proper vv device 6 watts with the pro tank and the room fills with vapour lmao

Seriously, I would almost recommend the iTaste over a Vamo! For a few reasons: It does the same job, and dare I say, slightly better, as it's performing better at 8-10W for me, where the Vamo, sith the same tanks, was burning up a bit. It's a much simpler set up, in fact zero set up, just charge and go. No faffing about with charging separate batteries and different sizes. It's neater so more discreet for taking out and about. If you were to buy a Vamo, or other mod, you need to also buy some batteries and a charger. With this, you get the device, and charger for much cheaper.

Only problem I see is that it is just one battery. But it is a pass through, so you can always have it charging while at the pc/laptop. I would like the wall charger on top, I believe you get this in the full kits, but can't find it solo.

I may buy a second one at some point. Both my Vamos have been idle since buying it. Of course I'll still use them for other flavours, but for now I prefer the simple itaste V3.

Just received my new Kanger T3S from UKeCig and it came with a small bottle of clear liquid. No mention of it on the website and I'm not sure what it is. Any ideas???

What does it smell of? Probably a juice sample, although its a bit naughty to send out juice in unlabelled bottles.

Yep, free sample of lemonade juice from the shisha range apparently. Just spotted the very small print on the delivery note. Bottle is completely unlabelled. Not sure I want to try it to be honest :)

It'll be perfectly fine, just escaped the label machine :D Man up!! bet it's nice. I have a 'limeade' here produced by an Irish guy and it's lovely. Real refreshing after vaping tobacco juices all day.

I'm vaping a cherry menthol that I mixed last night and it is just like vaping tunes. It's definitely a winner. Also made a cherry butterscotch which is nice to. Looking forward to mixing somemore and trying some weird mixes to.

My missus loves cherry flavours, not a huge fan myself. Or at least none of the ones I've tried were appealing to me.

I can tell you a couple of menthols to avoid: Napoleon menthol, and Mintoff, both from triphammer. Vile. Much as I love their sweet flavours, like refresher and Wham bar, those 2 miss by a mile. The mintoff smells a bit like urine, with menthol on the side ... and the Napoleon, which is supposed to be brandy with menthol kick, tastes like a stale, mouldy superking menthol.

Pure Nicotine

Stop talking about cherry grrr...

I have to wait until tomorrow for some organic 100% vg cherry to try :)

I don't know if it was the new kit I was using but changed from pg to trip hammer 50/50 Zanzibar and god is it good, now my daily vape.

Will let you know what the 100% vg cherry is like tomorrow :)

Just the opposite - zero nicotine. Yuck :(

I need to try some of the VG juice everyone keeps going on about. Is it that much different to the PG stuff?

 TBH Phil I seem to be more of a flavour vapor  :D Just had a reply back on the EVOD 650 leaking and gurgling a bit :puke: One guy suggested that using a slightly thicker VG oil should help it. Where are you getting yours from Ryan? Was also wondering if anybody has used LT Ecig for juice? Their prices seem reasonable for the 30ml Bottles. Although I might order a few of the 10ml and see if I like them.

The Zanzibar is available through vape escape (highly recommended for their service), the 100% vg is from uk ecig store, I haven't tried it before so bought on a whim.

Don't mention cherry. I had a great, sharp, cherry when I started, but haven't been able to find anything as good since. Everyone has black cherry. A coupled places have a bitter cherry, but I can't for the life of me find anything sharp and sweet like that first bottle.

Anyway, got my hands on the svoemesto combo today. Wow! Without wishing to willy-wave, its so much better than anything I tried before that I'm having trouble believing it. No hint of a dry hit, leak or even a gentle gurgle. Just loads of thick vapour with a perfect draw (thanks to the air control). I took it with a pinch of salt when I read that they recommend halving nic levels, but 16mg gave me a headache after 15-20 mins! Its just so efficient, that I'll have to mix up some 10-12mg tomorrow, so see how that goes. Highly recommended.

Where did you get the first, decent cherry juice from? just get more?

I personally am mixing my nice with ag. I know the nicotine is in pg along with the flavours bit I am only mixing 6 or 8 mg mixes anyway.

John has lost his Cherry :clap: :D

Just tried the cherry! I seriously hope it just needs steeping, otherwise it's a complete waste of money.

I'm getting a bit lost in what's good and not so good to buy, but anyway i've just got a Kanger evod clearomiser, now in the atomiser bit there is a little plastic bit... does that stay there or am i meant to take it off?? :bonk:

Yeah, that's what I mean, the rubbery bit that goes down over the post. That's supposed to be on there. It's to prevent the wicks from flooding I guess.

A wee tip though, if you wiggle off that post, to expose the wicks, and remove the loose wick they add in, you get much better vape from these coils. Obviously making sure you put it back together nice and tight. I do it with all my Kanger coils.

And the silicone 'gromet' is what you meant right?

Ahhh yay thank you! I quite like the filling from the bottom seems a lot easier,
That link is great, do you remove all the wick or just a strand?
Also how long do these ones last? Are they much different to the ego ce5 ?

I remove all the loose wick they add on top, all you need to keep is the wick with the coil.

I have some coils for a while now, I buy extra ones here and there and keep them in a box with other spares. I wash them all out after use [just a bowl of boiling water, rinse off, repeat, sometimes add a capful of cheap vodka and leave them to dry, perfectly re-usable]

I have also made up some coils for Kanger heads myself, pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it. Easier than building a dripping atty that's for sure.

Not used a ce5. Used most other clearos though, and I'd say the better ones are the evods [when they don't gurgle!] and the iClear 16

I also love vivi novas.

I looked at the vivi nova and that might be my next try!
I had 3 clearos I'm sure they are ce5 I'll have to check but they all started leaking after awhile and I was continuously getting a bit of liquid in the air hole, major gurgle and nuisance!
This kanger every so often seems to leak so maybe I've over filled or doing something wrong, the only think I'm not so sure on is not seeing the amount of liquid left properly

Denture cleaning tablets are a good way of getting an extra few days out of Kanger coils. Once a month or so I put the whole EVOD or Protank in (broken down) to give them a good clean. I may get one of those ultrasonic cleaners next time I'm in the vicinity of a maplins store.

Personally I don't remove the extra wick on the top of the coil and rebuild them with two pieces of wick (like the factory ones). I found they were more prone to flooding without the extra wick, particularly if I blocked one of the air holes.

I couldn't get on with a Nova. To me, everything tasted of plastic and I got fed up with having to roll it around to keep the wick loaded.

My svd arrived this morning just before we set off on a 4 hour drive. Luckily I ordered the charger with a car lead, so got to charge the batteries on route. Unfortunately my juice order didn't arrive at the same time. Trying to pace myself with what I have until I get home in 2 days.

I find the exact opposite, honestly. My evods never seem to give any issues with leaking or gurgling after removing the top wicks. i think the juice flows better, I have no idea why they put that extra on top!

But, as the heads are dirt cheap, like €2 a piece, [I order 5 at a time] it's no harm checking out both ways ;) See what suits.

Sounds like wick issues with the nova you have. I've rebuilt mine, and I burn the wick, and wire, before coiling. Seems to get rid of any synthetic taste.

I actually prefer the iClear 16 to any of them atm. They work so well. Dual coil, so nice warm vape and good TH on any battery. From a simple ego C 650 to a Vamo at 10 watts. No issues, I have 3 of them all running daily with different juices.

breakfast, dinner, tea :D
