11.37am Paul.Superb. What time of day was this?
Looks inviting but, I bet that water is freezing cold.
Didn’t even get my toes wet!Looks inviting but, I bet that water is freezing cold.
Just shows how versatile the RX10 series are MikeA few more from the Torridon area - these kind of sum up what I like about this camera: a landscape, a macro and a bird shot all decent quality and very easily done in a single package (yes I am lazy!)

Yes agreed! It's not perfect by any means but a great all-rounder nonethelessJust shows how versatile the RX10 series are Mike

Obviously not for you then Cara. Personally I don’t think they will be around much longer as there hasn’t been any new development in them for years now. On a plus I’m no longer chasing newer upgraded models.I have owned several bridge cameras in my time. All have (ultimately) disappointed. The 1" sensor type are pretty good and the pricey ones can be quite pleasing. But they can be bulky and heavy even with the small sensor.
Great capture from the Sony well done
Thanks MarkGreat capture from the Sony well done
Taken with a wonderful camera MikeYikes that Eagle is *sharp* !
My roving eye has been wandering again (A6700 + Tammy 50-400 maybe?) but then I look back at what I've got with the RX10iv and give myself a stern talking to and go for a lie downTaken with a wonderful camera Mike
It's amazing what you have squeezed out of that sensor and camera Mike you don't need anything else it seems. I suffer the same GAS ,My roving eye has been wandering again (A6700 + Tammy 50-400 maybe?) but then I look back at what I've got with the RX10iv and give myself a stern talking to and go for a lie down
I’m so over giving my cash over to camera companies for a little improvement if any. The draw of getting the very best from my older gear outstrips the gas. It's amazing what you have squeezed out of that sensor and camera Mike you don't need anything else it seems. I suffer the same GAS ,

Some of your images Mike looks like they have come from a much higher pixel cameraToo kind
The tawny was shot at 600mm, 1/10, f:4 and 1600iso. I’m amazed it even came out Mike lolThese are great Alby
I've done a few like that at low shutter speeds but never as low as a 10th!The tawny was shot at 600mm, 1/10, f:4 and 1600iso. I’m amazed it even came out Mike lol
