Just as soon as you can really, although it’s F&C so there are no hard and fast rules about anything.
Except the rule that it has to involve photochemistry! That's an unbreakable rule!

Just post on the thread "Closed for Entries" and then add the poll at the top.I've just put mine in for the Urban Landscape one of only 2 I had.
I have to close the thread at 1600, can anyone tell me how that works please?
Thanks Keith, I didn't think it would be that easy.Just post on the thread "Closed for Entries" and then add the poll at the top.
Thanks Paul - it's nice to get some useful results from a camera over a hundred years old.We have a winner, @Kevin Allan well done.
Seen it Kevin and I might be able to shoehorn one in out of only 2 shots I have that fit the brief.........Thanks Paul - it's nice to get some useful results from a camera over a hundred years old.
I'll come up with a theme for the next round soon.
Dunno what make it is but looks old maybe it's steam driven?:-
Track it down and it's a 1904 Stanley steam car..AmericanIt's probably petrol powered. There's no funnel for the smoke that I can see.
The maniac that drove it has also run over a traffic cone!
It's a great shot Kevin well deserving of its votes. Don't abstain on the next challenge just because you won this one though.Sorry folks, this is slightly embarrasing, the winner of the "Vintage" challenge is myself.
I have an idea for another challenge which I will sleep on and undertake not to enter.
I must have something for this one most of the rock outcrops on the Tors I visit look like petrified old men's faces. We have a new challenge, titled "Anthropomorphism"
It's easier to do than to spell.
Anthropomorphism means attributing human characteristics to non-human objects. For example, if you've ever taken an image of a face in a tree, an arrangement of windows and doors looking like a face, you've used anthropomorphism.
Post your entries here:
New old film challenge #229 - Anthropomorphism

I spoke too soon, I have loads of digital shots of detailed rock formations that look like petrified old guys but having gone through my film shots (that are scanned which is not a massive amount) I have only come up with one which is a bit of a shoehorn (cos the charachter isn't human) but hey-ho it's for fun so I'm in again.I must have something for this one most of the rock outcrops on the Tors I visit look like petrified old men's faces.
Ah, that means I can post my rock one then!I spoke too soon, I have loads of digital shots of detailed rock formations that look like petrified old guys but having gone through my film shots (that are scanned which is not a massive amount) I have only come up with one which is a bit of a shoehorn (cos the charachter isn't human) but hey-ho it's for fun so I'm in again.
Thanks Kevin, and to all who voted for me. I'll think up a new topic shortly. The "Anthropomorthism" challenge has produced a winner .... well done @FishyFish. Who would have thought that a grit bin would have an artistic embellishment.
Over to Nigel to set the next challenge.
I'm glad I don't have to try to spell "anthroporhism" again for the foreseeable future.
This one will be awkward with only 4 entries, unless the wider Forum users vote because if only the entrants vote and use all 3 votes it will be a draw. And let the voting commence...
New old film challenge #231 - Concert - Voting Closed!
Post your shots of anything related to "Concert" (any type of music, or any other meaning of the word). Shoehorning is encouraged! The usual the following rules apply: - Must be taken by you - Must be on film - Must have been taken, developed and scanned prior to the start date of this...www.talkphotography.co.uk
Good point Paul. Both of the previous two challenges had more voters than contests. This one will be awkward with only 4 entries, unless the wider Forum users vote because if only the entrants vote and use all 3 votes it will be a draw.
I agreeI reckon, if we get only 4 entries again, we should only have 2 votes per voter, rather than 3. Likewise, if we got 3 entries, I'd go for 1 vote per voter...
I agree
