SHARE YOUR FILM SHOOTING OUTINGS HERE - Communal Thread (warning, may be picture heavy)

I took a few cameras with me to New York a little while back.

Minolta X-500 and Ricoh FF-A3 being film only. I also had a Sony A7i and used it with the Minolta lenses.

These were from the Minolta... plus either a 24/2.8 or a 35-70/3.5 as they were the only lenses I took. Ilford XP2.

@FishyFish . Thanks, great to be able to compare the digi set up with the outcome. Do you use a yellow filter? (Just looking at the cloud rendition, not criticising). Also Delta 100 in LF, my wallet is crying from here!

No, no filters used. I did have a yellow filter, but it was a cheap one and I found it was causing distortion on the images (plus it wouldn't have fit on this lens anyway). I might invest in a set of Cokin B&W filters at some point though.

The Delta wasn't too expensive - a bit more than FP4+ and HP5+, but I got it for a reasonable price (it was around £50 for 25 sheets).

ace thread!
Here is the start of my contributions....007238860013 resized.jpg

staffy wanted to say hello but moved.... my 77mm lens on the front of my Z-1p was starting to play up that week as well...

One of my favourite locations - I absolutely love Munich, from the moment I started living there 21 years ago. Folks should recognise the 'pepperpots' of the Frauenkirche. My all time favourite drinking place is about 100 yards away from this spot, Augustiner am Dom which serves great pints of Helles and Edelstoff.

Unlike the other 2 shots above, this was taken on 2004 vintage Arcros film rated at ISO 64 in a Z-1p and F50/1.7. Kew Gardens. Marc Quinn exhibition ongoing, mostly shiny stuff but this was a deep crimson colour which 'shines' in appalling conditions...

Well just something amusing, went for another shoot of London using my 300mm Canon, with 2xs extender and polariser, also just for testing old FD 28mm and Hoya 135mm...erm the Hoya wouldn't fit onto the Canon WTF although kept amongst my other Canon lenses, back home found out it was for my Contax
The visibility was E according to the met office but don't think it possible to get a clear shot of the City of London from 13miles away as polution ruins the shot, switching away from London and distance was very clear. When I eventually get the film dev will post if any good.

We had snow on Dartmoor this week so I took my Bronica SQ-B out loaded with Portra 160, unfortunately I went a day later (Wed) and my scans aren't back yet but I did copy each composition with a digital camera just in case. I'll post the film shots when I get them but for this post it is the digital dupes.

Brrr...........looks cold Paul, but nice images; like No1 lots (y)
Thanks Fraser, actually it wasn't as cold as I thought it would be and by the time I was on the return leg oa the 5 mile walk most of the snow on the South facing slopes was melted away.

These are the Tors featured in shot 2 about 4 hours later (digital shot with Fuji X-T2).
