Show us yer film shots then!

Apologies, I didn't mean this to be a clinical examination of the photo, maybe I'm just used to seeing the results of this combination on medium format and that's the explanation for the difference.

No problem! Perhaps I will stick it in the crit section so we can discuss.

I like that, grain's not too bad either. There's some newton ring action going on though, something I've also noticed in recent Ektar rolls.

How did you add the exif?

ta, yea having a few rings on this roll. As for the EXIF just batch select the images once scanned in, then edit properties and add the camera maker and model. I did download a fancy program for adding exif but this is simpler!

One from the IS1000

Attempted to simulate in the editor what I've done with on a wet print before. Namely, make a dark print dodging the middle third, add a heavy vignette and add a graduated tone to the upper half in diluted mix of brown toner. Looks pretty close.

Jon Goodman is the ''Man''

:plus1: for Jon, a top fella, really helpful and will always find a way of making a kit for the more obscure cameras.

Taken this year, very grey low light February morning with F80, Nikkor 28-80mm and Fuji Superia 200 Asa.

superb

looks like something out of the Everglades, or that movie ''Deliverance' with "Dueling Banjos"

a few taken with my Bronica SQ-A with Portra 400 film. Just trying to get used to the whole square thing!

that portra 400 looks fantastic, is that the new emulsion?

Thanks John,

I had not thought of that, I guess it does a bit.(y)

most definitely the new one. It only came out last december I think.

In the US, everywhere else sadly had to wait until late January to get it despite Kodak claiming it to be on sale from October 2010...

I guess USA is long gone as a biggest market for film . japan probably is now. that might be the reason. to pick USa over somewhere else.

With results that good, I might just be persuaded to drop Ektar and just use Portra..
