I feel it's been a while since I posed in this thread so here's a couple from a Minox EC 8x11mm negs on FP4+. I am aware of a keen following for sub miniature cameras and so I am always self conscious that I may not be doing the format and the cameras justice.

Well I think you are certainly giving Minox justice.I am aware of a keen following for sub miniature cameras and so I am always self conscious that I may not be doing the format and the cameras justice.
That first photo is brilliant
Thank you both for your kind words. I really prefer to have film developed and scanned commercial (developed because I just don't like developing films all though I can and scanned as I feel they do a better job).Well I think you are certainly giving Minox justice.
That model of bike goes for silly money now. They were 10 a penny when I was on mopeds!
I really like No3 Chris, just needs the scratches removing in post.A few rather grainy, possibly under-exposed Kentmere 100 from near Ambleside (climbing up and over Wansfell Pike).

All taken with my Pentax LX on Kentmere film through a SMC Pentax M 28mm f/2 lens and yellow filter, devved in IlfoTecDD by Filmdev and home-scanned with Vuescan Pro on my Plustek 7500i.

At £6.5k with over 2 days to go....I sold mine for £120.00 in '77.

I had a look at that, Fraser, turns out there are more scratches and blemishes than I can point a mouse at! At least two horizontal white lines (ignoring the strange random white lines that I have now taken out of my copy), a whole bunch of vertical black lines, and a LOT of not-quite-horizontal banding in the sky. I think I'll leave it at "quite nice though flawed"!I really like No3 Chris, just needs the scratches removing in post.

If shooting 4x5 then a box of 100 8x10 paper will cost £62 and yield 400 4x5 negs at 15.5. Pence per sheet. By contrast FP4+ is about £2 per sheet and Fomapan 100 is about 76p per sheet. You get some great results from that set up. Do the paper negs work out cheaper than using film?
The welcome reduced cost per shot aside, you have mastered the technique of using paper negatives and do get some wonderful results. If shooting 4x5 then a box of 100 8x10 paper will cost £62 and yield 400 4x5 negs at 15.5.
