Why would I want to do that for? Electronics and water don't go well together My FE 70-200mm f2.8 is long enough.Try putting your A9 in some water or using some native long primes.
Canon and Nikon Pro level bodies would do far better in rain than Sony. Why would I want to do that for? Electronics and water don't go well together My FE 70-200mm f2.8 is long enough.

But I don't shoot in the rain???Canon and Nikon Pro level bodies would do far better in rain than Sony.
Many people might want to, if they weren't concerned their gear might let them down. But I don't shoot in the rain???
But I don't shoot in wet conditions. No, its very different from DSLR pro action camera's.... its a GAME CHANGER lolTo test its weather sealing. Okay, just sit it on a puddle for us, its a pro action camera right, like the D5 and 1DX2?
I don't care what "many" people might wan't, I bought the Sony A9 for me!Many people might want to, if they weren't concerned their gear might let them down.
Or any other conditions! But I don't shoot in wet conditions
Correct lolOr any other conditions!
Whens it being released?
But are stil not water proof. Many pros still use rain covers for there 1dx's and d5'sCanon and Nikon Pro level bodies would do far better in rain than Sony.
And when you do, a simple raincover of some sort would do the trickBut I don't shoot in the rain???

Great price for the tamron @nandbytes & Well done tamron for pricing it like that.
Speaking of bargains, I’ve just popped into park cameras after a conference and they are at it again with their crazy sales.
Yup i remembered it being that low tooI bought that lens for £750 new way back in 2008 or something. I was my first L prime.

Great news!Update: Just got it confirmed that my A7III has indeed got front focussing issues and I will be getting a replacement.
Great news!
Did you buy from Wilkinson's?

Ok I'll post again on 1st and anyone buying before the offer came on missed out on spending the savings on a mid range DVD player and a decent TV.They all do offers, we don't live in the future and the difference today is £650.
I'll carry your bags! lol
The rumor site reports that the Tamron 28-75mm eye/face detect is as fast as a native Sony lens...
Read it here... Watch the vids... etc...

Have you watched every A73 video on youtube?
Have you watched every A73 video on youtube?
Pretty much!
I'm off work on long term sick, so I have plenty of time on my hands.... plus I just like to see everyone's take on the camera and any hints and tips...
... plus watching all the praise for the camera makes me feel good about my purchase (when I hopefully get a good copy, of course)!
marketing at its best
They’re all good at it tbh. Watch enough A7iii videos and you want one, watch enough D850 videos and you want one, watch enough Canon 5d4 videos and you want one, watch..........They're bloody good at it, then! ... Obviously not wanting to concede my gullibility
You forgot .... watch enough Canon 6d2 videos and you want one...They’re all good at it tbh. Watch enough A7iii videos and you want one, watch enough D850 videos and you want one, watch enough Canon 5d4 videos and you want one, watch..........
