Not got the mkii, but original one; and from what I've read (and watched), apart from a bit smaller and lighter, there's not much in it. I think it's more geared to stills and video. Where the mkii is more stills oriented. I'm keeping mineHas anyone got the new 16-55 2.8 Mk2? Is it worth the investment? Ive still got my trusty 18-55 on the X-T5. Id like an upgrade but theres a few options at this focal range.
Beautiful morning yesterday so a walk up Ventnor downs was needed to blow out some cobwebs.

The Island is still a pretty place to live but not as nice as what your grandparents would have enjoyed. I am convinced there is still something happening in the old radar station due to the new building and occasional external work happening! My Grandad was an ARP Warden up there during WW2 (He was a bank manager in Sandown) and my Mum was born in Ventnor!!!
That would have been a long walk and wait to get back to the chalet. Still no public toilets up the top of Culver unless the pub is open.We used to holiday at Sandown Bay holiday camp back in the 80s.
Regularly used to hike up to Culver Point - on one occasion we got 3/4 of the way up and my little sister needed a poo, so we had to walk all the way back down again to the chalet
Yeah, I've got one of the original (pre usb-c) ones. Pre-ordered and got it 2 days before release somehow.Anybody here have an Instax Evo? I read they are bringing out a "wide" version to run with the Mini.
Thanks to @Mr Perceptive and @Jelster re pointing me to Fuji's Service Centre for my damaged lens.
Took the fixed price repair option and pleased to report that I have it back (7 days from posting) in perfect working order.
Note to self: Don't drop camera equipment down the stairs......
Quality work John especially the first one.Final images (probably) from Harris:

I’d send it back, Fuji took two goes at repairing my X-T2, never queried the ‘new fault’ - just sorted it and returned within a few daysHi again folks - I'm after some further advice in relation to the above lens/fix.
Everything looked ok at first glance when I got this lens back from repair, and the test photos I took are all fine - nice and sharp across the lens.
However, what I didn't notice until I took the lens out today was that when extending or closing the zoom, there a very slight "catch" or rubbing as if the machismo is catching on something when I zoom out, happening at between just under 50mmm when zooming in, and when coming back from full 80mm zoom at happens again at about 60mm - almost as if the mechanism is catching on something. Apart from that the zoom mechanism feels absolutely fine and smooth.
I'm pretty certain that the zoom mechanism was smooth as silk all the way out and back before I sent it away for repair.
Is this something I should be concerned about and send it back to Fuji to be looked at, or is it nothing to worry about? Appreciate thoughts.
Thank you.
