I find snappers choice curiously difficult, the creative juices flow more readily with a subject, so I might have to make my own secret topic for the week
 
I thought it was time for some more Intricate work by everyone...
 
I'm feeling a bit tired and old this morning, in fact positively Ancient...

Amazing how time passes. I'll set up the threads for 2025 over the Christmas break.

In recognition of something that is currently going on in my house, I think we should give some thought this week to Decorations...
 
Hmmmm got one this afternoon that will do - but may have an opportunity for a better version of it on Monday :)

@lindsay FYI, I've also reported 2 posts using report as they are from randoms posting into the thread with no attempt to comply with the 52 ethos :)

I removed the posts that were reported last night; for clarity, both posters had not signed up for the challenge in this thread, nor had they posted images to a thread of their own and linked to that, they just posted appropriate images to the Images thread as if it were another open thread for image sharing. I did point them to the 2025 52 threads to sign up and read the guidance.

Thanks guys, I've enjoyed it and getting even more involved in the site and with members. I hope my 2025 efforts will maintain the spirit and memory of our dear late lamented colleague Cobra Chris.

Posting a little early today for personal convenience as I have too transport the dog to his favourite walkies at midday... a nice easy one to finish the year off

Thanks all involved for keeping the 52 going though I had to drop out this year, no Showcase this year?

Just last 2 or 3 years week 52 has been showcase- pick your favourite/best pic from your 52. Suppose could also post it with/instead of the transport pic for week 52.
 
I hadn't realised that - never having got to week 52 of the challenge!
I'm happy to say that week 52 can be either a Shooting challenge on Transport, or a selection challenge for Showcasing your favourite of the year.
