So when are we going to address the issue of whether Julian will be getting a UV filter for his new lens :nuts: ..... I'm sure someone must have a view on the matter :LOL:

Yes there will be a Hoya Pro-1 filter attached...

If there is any dissent on this, Jules and I will be emailing you all our thanks from St Kitts tomorrow...(y)
 
Just as a suggestion now that the total has reached 2k and climbing.
It would nice to get whatever Julian needs to make photography as easy and enjoyable as possible, which means brackets and fixtures made to suit Julians particular disadvantages.

I think the camera is pretty much sorted, but the means of using it, is just if not more so important.

If it needs extra funds to achieve this, i dont mind contributing some more and judging by the response on here, a lot more would as well.

If a job worths doing, its worth doing well

As i said, just a suggestion:)

Julian - I have just retired as a GP - I wish everyone that I had dealt with had the same drive and spirit that you obviously have; you are an inspiration and deserve everything that you get and a load more.
Just keep the photography going and lets see the results.

There are two structural locations that the bracket can be attached to. Basically I have done a rough sketch which I will show later but we need to make something really...
 
What TP branding can we put on the camera is a Neck strap appropriate?

Oh and he hasn't mentioned it so I will,

Richard OneTen has donated a brand new Novoflex ARM worth over £30 which will be brilliant on the left hand bracket to attach the flash or the screen...
