Not much from todays walkies but a few that made me happy.
There was a Woodpecker close by in a great position but a couple stopped to stare, got too close and were talking so loud it soon flew off. I was rather peed off to say the least.

Taken this afternoon at WWT Arundel, West Sussex.

Not much of interest today, but I did get my mileage up to six, which was nice. Lots of shooting going on in the woods - guns, not cameras. I think the first one below is a thrush, but there seemed to be a small flock of them jumping from telephone wire to telephone wire, which didn't seem like thrush-like behaviour to me, so maybe it's something else? The gull, which is uncropped, was just an experiment to see how close I could get. Usual G9 with 100-300.

First looks like a Pipit, not a Thrush.
