Cool.
What grinder are you getting?
After mentioning coffee machines on here on Saturday, as I said I had been looking at the Gaggia classic and with you and Raymond both recommending them my mind was made up. On Sunday one appeared on Gumtree, picked it up on Monday. (y)

I now know the machine inside out, literally as the kids say (but I mean it) 20 year old machine but Scottish water has been fairly kind to it so no major issues.

I did look into the Eureka Mignon but ended up going with the Niche, it's out for delivery at the moment so hopefully I can get my afternoon coffee,

Well, my Mr Ding 50mm f1.1 isn't going so well. The performance varies from corner to corner as does vignetting. Comparing it to my Voigtlander 40mm f1.2 it's night and day difference. The supplier asked for examples so I sent him my decentring test shots. If he wont agree to take it back I'll escalate it. I would have kept it if it was anything like acceptable but the variation in vignetting alone makes processing much more of a faff on.

This lens gets good review but maybe my copy shows that these Chinese made lenses really are a gamble.

I must not let Mrs WW see this thread. She's coffee mad :D
I’ve got a Smeg espresso machine, and whilst you pay over the odds for the name it’s actually a very good machine. Double shot espresso cappuccinos all the way for me (y)

I drink Tea

Me too and hot chocolate too. I can't stand coffee.

I bought Mrs WW one of these and she's happy with it... Not from these people though, this was just the first link I found when googling it. I think I paid more.

Coincidence that coffee machines are the topic of conversation I’ve just replaced my ageing Nespresso machine with a Sage Barista Express Impress. Loving it so far!

Took my car for a service today and spotted quite a few consumables need doing in order to pass the MOT.

CV Boot needs replacing - £20?
2 x Suspension arms (bushes are worn) - about £150 for the pair
4 x new springs needed - OEM ones are £140 each on ebay!, so this is looking at like £600

And...

4 x new tyres....thats at least £400.

I am looking at £1300 in parts...then labour. How much do you think i can sell a kidney for?

Eurocarparts suspension parts & springs are ok

Tyres are a consumable, I always look forward to some new grip

Stop moaning and pay up :ROFLMAO:

I haven't even mentioned the £205 i paid for the service today, and then still the MOT of like £50 after the repair bill.

There goes my X-Pro2 budget....or even X-Pro3/X100v !

But yeah, all the stuff are consumables....just unfortunate they all align together this year..but at least i don't need new brakes!

I never get stuff done before an MOT, I always see if it fails first, a decent tester might give you advisories if you're lucky

Well, I've got the joy of car shopping with my daughter this weekend seeing as she passed her test the other day!

Help  :$
Well at least you won’t have to take her out for lessons anymore.

You’re not letting her drive the Escort then? ;)

I have a different mindset, I don't really do the work for the MOT, or trying to sneak everything in for a pass for another year. I want to keep the car in good condition so I am doing the work for the health of the car and better driving experience.

I never took her out for lessons. She'd learn a lot from me, but probably not how to pass a test :ROFLMAO:

I had quite a few comments about the Escort when I posted on Farcebook about her passing. In all honesty, I'd love her to drive it. Maybe not just yet though.... :ROFLMAO:
