Thanks for that. Doesn't appear to be any benefit to the apd lens
That's nice Karl, lovely light, good composition and some great reflections.
George.
Another one with the 18-55. Lovely reflections of the morning sky.

I think I've got the Fuji bug again..... really want something smaller/lighter to take with me when I'm not specifically going togging, if I'm honest I'm feeling a bit out of love with my photography just now and I'm hoping something might spark my interest again, that X100T looks good as well though..
Recently purchased an X-T1, what a great piece of kit it is. I'm still learning all of the features on it. Has anyone used the wide/tracking focus mode yet. Not sure I've got it worked out as it appears to be focussing on b/g rather than the moving subject. Admittedly I've only used on runners but I had more success with single point focus. Opinions and advice on how to get the best out of wide/tracking much appreciated.
Thanks
Mark
Thanks Mick thats what it was, strange that it doesn't happen with other lenses though ?Pre focus? But then again other lenses are fine
That is weird glad its sorted m8Thanks Mick thats what it was, strange that it doesn't happen with other lenses though ?
Thanks Simonblue will read it just wondering what others thoughts on wide/tracking focus are.
Screw the wide tracking, 3x3 zone focus is brilliant and i dare say that is all you'll need.
You're welcome Mark.
Failing that, flog it all and buy a D750 and 24-70.
That's just not going to happen

That's a nice shot @manualfocus-g , well composed with some nice tones. I like the slightly gritty PP work and just as a suggestion I think it would also work well with a slight sepia styled presentation.
George.
I was a little lazy with this one and used the Ilford Delta 800 preset
Same here, started out with a d5000 then a d600 before jumping to Fuji for a year. Then in a moment of madness sold it all and bought a Sony A7 which I found horrible and frustrating every time I picked it up, so again sold it to buy a D610. The Nikon FF produces great images but man it's heavy and such a chore. Spent a few days reviewing my older images and decided my Fuji images were just as good as my FF Nikons, if not with better colours. So here I am back with Fuji and really enjoying photography again. Think it's easy (for some) to become ingrained in tech specs and forget about what matters. Although I do accept there are those who really must have the very best spec camera out there, whether they use it or not. Really can't see myself moving from Fuji again.
