They have finally fixed the very old Donkey Bridge in New England Shropshire, I had visions of this bridge falling into the Borle Brook as it was in a real state. A point and shoot dog walk adventure !

I'm not sure what happened here but in the colour version I had to down grade the image massively as well as the usual downsize.

A turning off Exeter's High Street takes you through this ancient underpass leading into the tiny Stephen Street.

It seems a shame that the local yobs have seen fit to "improve" it...

Every year, the center of Exeter, like many other city centers, becomes overun by strange objects masquerading as "Christmas decorations". What this is supposed to do for anyone, other than the people who make them, is anyone's guess.

This is just one of them...

The above is the theme for the next Flickr "Macro Monday" challenge.

This exposure meter (resting on its rather well-worn leather pouch) belonged to my father and from the paperwork with it, he bought it in South Africa. This must have been when he was training as a pilot in WW2. The puzzle for me is the name "Macy's" on it. Since it is inscribed as being "Made in USA", I assume this must be the well-known store - but did they sell their own-branded photographic gear? I can find nothing on t'interweb to confirm this so, for now at least, it remains one of life's little mysteries!
