Manual lenses I liked using more years ago when I started using mirrorless cams. With IS, live view and focus window magnification they are easier to use now
than in the film days. But modern native AF lenses result in more keepers ...

Tonight's quick effort on a dog walk in the dark ,tonight's lesson learnt is charge the battery in the camera ( I thought it may last a little longer than it did !) The lighting was expertly done by my grandson and a head torch. Unfortunately the head torch is not adjustable so was a little too targeted on the church. I

Not an amazing photo but when walking across this farm land it struck up a memory of something daft my wife said to me when we first moved to the countryside. I had been at work and on arriving home my wife said I've taken the dogs over the field ( O.K I thought) then she went on to say the farmer has done something really weird ! He has put little mounds of soil all over the field ! She didn't appreciate me laughing at her !

Black Sheep ( almost) with a bad attitude. My dogs are broken to Sheep so have no interest to them but this one always looks like it's up for a rumble !

I've had the busiest weekend I've had for a long while but on the plus side I did manage to get my 20+ jobs done ( I have to write a list otherwise I forget them) Including trying to fit Mrs Badger in for a quick 5 minute photo shoot. She didn't like the fact no one had really taken photos of her at our daughters wedding last week so I had to recreate it with the back drop of Terraced house instead of a country estate with a big opulent house !

I'm not quite sure what I was up to here but i quite like it !

Taken last night if I'm totally honest, but not home in time to process and post them before bed.

We went to a fireworks party at my brother-in-law's last night.

A very small garden, so I was hunched up in a corner as far away from the launch pad as possible, with the RF16 pointed fairly skyward on my brand new R5 Mk2 - my first test drive!

Although the fireworks were relatively small (not like the proper display things), there is still quite a lot going on when they detonate.

I am pretty pleased with what the camera produced.

Best viewed in all their glory on Flickr.

The telephone exchange at Budleigh Salterton. I don't know if it's still in use but I visited it for work about 3 decades ago and they were already switching it from Strowger to digital..

My first time out with a camera in what seems like a long time.

I fed a lot of squirrels. This is a 100% crop as all I had was a 40mm lens.

I wanted to see the fallen leaves before they spoiled.

Soon be Remembrance Day. There's a service at the war graves on Saturday and a bit of a parade on Sunday.
